How Clickdrop works

Clickdrop is prompt-free AI product photography for online sellers who want professional photos of their products without having to write prompts or come up with the creative direction themselves. You pick a product photo you like from our templates, upload your own product, and Clickdrop puts your product into that same photo while keeping everything else in it the way it was.

  1. 1

    Pick a photo you like

Browse the template library and choose a product photo you would like to have of your own product.

Templates come in campaigns. A campaign is a set of matching photos of the same scene taken from different angles, so you can pick one photo or several, and all the photos of a product can look like they came from one photoshoot.

Upload one clear photo of your product

Take one clear photo of your product and upload it. A phone photo is fine, as long as the whole product is in the frame and the light is good.

You don’t need to remove the background or edit the photo first. The tips further down this page show what makes a good one.

Get that same photo back with your product in it

Clickdrop puts your product into the photo you picked and keeps everything else the way it was, including the scene, the camera angle, the lighting and the composition.

Look over the result and compare it with your real product, and when you are happy with it, download it and use it in your store, your listings or your ads.

What makes it different

No prompts to write

Most AI photo tools start with an empty text box and leave it to you to describe the photo you want, which takes practice and still gives you something different each time. With Clickdrop there is nothing to type, because you choose a photo that already looks the way you want and that photo is the instruction.

You get the photo you picked

Many AI tools treat a template as inspiration and give you a different scene each time. Clickdrop keeps the photo you picked. The scene, the camera angle, the lighting and the composition stay the same and only the product changes, so you know what you will get before you start, and the photos from one campaign still match each other.

Tips for the best results

The result can only be as accurate as the photo you upload, so it is worth a minute to get it right. A phone photo is enough if it follows these points.

  • Show the whole product with a little space around it, so nothing is cut off at the edges.
  • Take the photo in soft, even light, such as near a window during the day, and avoid harsh shadows across the product.
  • Keep it sharp by holding the phone steady and tapping the product to focus before you take the photo.
  • A plain background helps, because it makes it easier to tell where the product ends and the background begins.
  • Skip heavy filters and beauty effects, since they change your product’s real colours.
  • Turn the side you want to show toward the camera, with any label or logo clearly visible.

What happens after you generate

Every result goes through an automatic quality check before you see it. The check compares the result with your product photo and with the template, and if it finds a clear problem, Clickdrop makes one more attempt on its own and gives you the better of the two.

The check catches a lot, but not everything. AI can still change small details of your product, such as fine print, a small logo or the texture of a fabric, so look at each photo closely and compare it with your real product before you publish it.

If you are on Pro and a result is broken or unusable, you can request a credit refund from the Complaints page in your account within 7 days. The refund policy explains which results qualify.

Credits and pricing

Clickdrop uses credits rather than a subscription. Each photo uses between 300 and 800 credits depending on the resolution you choose, and you always see the exact cost before you create it. New accounts get 1,000 free credits when they sign up, enough for 3 photos at 1K resolution, so you can try it before you pay anything.

When you need more, you top up with credits, and your credits never expire. Any top-up from $10 also unlocks Pro for life, which adds every template, 2K and 4K resolution, and refund support.

Questions, answered

Do I need to know how to write prompts?

No. You pick a photo from the template library and upload a photo of your product. There is nothing to type.

What is a campaign?

A campaign is a set of templates that show the same scene from different angles. Using several photos from one campaign gives your product a set of photos that match each other, like the shots from a single photoshoot.

What photo of my product should I upload?

One clear photo of the product on its own, with the whole product in the frame and good, even light. A phone photo is enough.

Will my product look exactly the same?

Clickdrop is built to keep your product’s shape, label and logo, but AI can still change small details such as fine print or texture. Check each photo before you publish it. On Pro, if a result is broken or unusable, you can request a credit refund within 7 days.

How much does a photo cost?

A photo uses 300 to 800 credits, depending on the resolution you choose. You see the exact cost before you create it, and new accounts get 1,000 free credits to start with.

Can I use the photos commercially?

Yes. You own the photos you create and can use them for any lawful purpose, including selling. Make sure each one shows your product accurately before you publish it.

Try it with your own product

New accounts get free credits to try it, no card needed.
